Homework for Tuesday, October 31
20 minutes of music by Haydn is due this week. If you listen to a symphony, please tell me what symphony you listened to and what movement(s). Don't say you listened to "Allegro" because almost every symphony in the Classical Period had a movement named "Allegro."
Finish up the EdPuzzle of Symphony #45 if you didn't finish it in class. Have all the questions answered by Tuesday.
Homework for Thursday, November 2
Complete your assigned section of the Symphony worksheet. Click on Notes/Powerpoints and then click on the Haydn symphonies button. Find the reasons for the symphony nicknames that you looked up and write them on the back of the page. You can click on the name of the symphony and open a page to tell you the reason for the nickname.
Go to Classroom.google.com and watch the video of Symphony #101 that is linked there. Answer the questions and then return to Google Classroom and mark the assignment as done. You must watch this video WITH your worksheet from class. You will need it for the answers.
Study for a quiz on Haydn and his symphonies. Use notes on pages 27-32.
